Mouli revealed that he initially entered the industry with the dream of becoming a writer and director. During his student days, he learned editing, made short films during his B.Tech, and later promoted them through social media content. This journey helped him gain an understanding of scripts, and eventually, he got the opportunity to act, gaining recognition with “90s Middle Class Biopic”.
Talking about “Little Hearts”, Mouli said the story felt perfect for a theatrical release right from the start. With the support of ETV Win and the backing of producers, the movie secured a grand release. He was confident about the film all through. And, today the box office response proves he has been right all along.
Mouli shared that he personally worked on the promotional activities and scripting ideas to ensure freshness. He believes that whether in films or on social media, building credibility with content is key to winning audience trust.
“Little Hearts” is designed to appeal to audiences across all age groups, from 6 to 60. Mouli emphasized that it’s not just a youth-centric film but one that connects with all sections of the audience, a key for sustaining in theatres.
On his future goals, Mouli said he wants to act in as many good films as possible, but more importantly, he hopes to be remembered for quality movies. He also intends to fulfill his original dream of becoming a writer and director someday, as he continues to work on scripts alongside acting.

Coming from a non-film background, his family initially doubted his prospects in cinema, but after the success of “90s Middle Class Biopic”, they started believing in him.
Mouli said he takes criticism positively, as it helps improve. He admitted that while he wasn’t deeply involved in scripting “Little Hearts”, his contribution was minimal, likening it to “sprinkling coriander on biryani” made by director Sai Marthand.
He added that he wants to do films that can be comfortably watched with parents and family, something he also keeps in mind while writing scripts and creating content.

Mouli described “Little Hearts” as a fun-filled rom-com with relatable characters, one that leaves audiences with a good emotional feeling by the end. He stressed that the theatrical experience heightens the comedy, which may not connect the same way on OTT, and insists the audience to catch the film on big screen.
Praising his co-star Shivani Nagaram for being a wonderful collaborator and music director Sinjith Yerramalli for creating magical music, he said the songs are one of the highlights of the movie.
As he continues to enjoy the hit run and is seen moving from one success party to another, he hinted that his next project will be announced soon, as he is already listening to new scripts.
