From Relatable Hero to Fan Favourite: Nani Unveils His 32 Film

Celebrated Telugu cinema actor Nani, lovingly referred to by fans as the Natural Star for his effortless and authentic acting, continues to solidify his place among the industry’s most loved performers as he celebrates another milestone in his expanding career.

Since his early days as a supporting artist and assistant director, Nani’s journey to stardom has been marked by an impressive blend of versatility, relatability, and audience connection. Born Ganta Naveen Babu, he first garnered attention with his breakout role in Ala Modalaindi and steadily built a reputation as a dependable performer in a string of hits including Pilla Zamindar, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Eega and Jersey. This consistent track record helped him win over audiences across generations, earning him the affectionate title Natural Star.

Fan Base and Growth

Unlike traditional mass heroes who rely on larger-than-life personas, Nani has cultivated a unique space in Telugu cinema, one rooted in grounded performances that resonate widely with audiences. His ability to balance commercial entertainers with character-driven films has broadened his fan base domestically and increasingly in other regions, with many now following his journey across social media platforms and film releases.

This growth has been reflected not just in his box office appeal but also in the enthusiastic reception to his projects. On social media communities and fan forums, heartfelt tributes and celebratory notes regularly surface, especially around his birthday and major film announcements, highlighting the strong emotional connection he shares with fans.

New Project: ‘Bloody Romeo’ Announced on His Birthday

Taking his career forward, Nani thrilled audiences yet again on his birthday by unveiling his 32 film, titled Bloody Romeo. The announcement came with a stylized teaser clip that hints at a quirky, action-packed narrative where Nani portrays a chef with mysterious dual shades, part culinary wizard, part gangster, signalling a fresh and edgy turn in his filmography.

Directed by Sujeeth, known for his dynamic storytelling and action sensibilities, Bloody Romeo is set to go on floors this summer. The project is being produced by Niharika Entertainment and Unanimous Productions and is expected to be mounted on a pan-Indian scale, aiming for a worldwide audience once filming wraps.

This announcement comes as Nani is already immersed in work other than his 32 film, on another highly anticipated film, The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, a collaboration that marks a reunion after the success of Dasara. The Paradise is slated for release later this year and promises a broader global reach with multiple language versions, further elevating Nani’s international profile.

Looking Ahead

With Bloody Romeo on the horizon and The Paradise gearing up for release, Nani’s career trajectory continues to reflect both artistic growth and widespread fan adoration. From a relatable on-screen presence to a potent box office draw with a growing global audience, the Natural Star shows no signs of slowing down.
