The much-awaited sequel to Goodachari, titled G2, is all set to hit cinemas worldwide on 1st May 2026. Starring Adivi Sesh in the lead, the spy action drama promises to be grander, grittier, and far more intense than its predecessor.
Directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, who makes his debut behind the camera, G2 significantly ups the ante. The film has been shot extensively across six countries over 150 days, with as many as 23 custom-built sets, reflecting its global ambition and production scale. The makers also unveiled a series of posters highlighting various shades of the storyline, adding to the buzz.
Adivi Sesh reprises his role, diving into a new high-risk mission that spans continents. Actress Wamiqa Gabbi joins the franchise as Agent 116, bringing a mix of emotion and firepower to the narrative. The film also marks Emraan Hashmi’s Telugu debut, with Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, and Madhu Shalini playing key roles.
Backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, G2 is produced under People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, aiming for a wide pan-India appeal.
