Tollywood actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has always had a strong love for bike and car racing. Even as a child, he was passionate about motorsports. Over the years, he took part in many racing competitions both in India and abroad, showing his talent on the racetrack.
However, after becoming an actor, Chaitanya stepped away from racing. He believed it was risky and didn’t want to create problems for his producers, who depend on him. He also thought racing wasn’t the best choice for his personal life.
Still, his dream of racing never truly left him. Whenever he gets time, he still takes part in safe, low-risk races just to enjoy the thrill. Interestingly, Chaitanya now hopes to achieve the racing success he missed—through his future son.
The actor recently shared this wish himself. After his separation from Samantha, Chaitanya married actress Shobita Dhulipala. The couple is currently enjoying their time together, although Shobita has stepped back from acting and is taking care of responsibilities as a daughter-in-law in the Akkineni family.
Chaitanya mentioned that he doesn’t get to spend much time with Shobita due to his busy shooting schedule. To manage this, the couple has made some personal rules. One of them is to always have meals together at home, no matter how busy they are. They also make sure to create special memories even during short trips or film-related events.
Recently, Chaitanya even taught Shobita how to drive on a racetrack. He called racing a kind of ‘therapy’ for himself. Looking ahead, he said that by the time he turns 50, he hopes to have one or two children. If he has a son, he plans to train him to become a professional racer. If he has a daughter, he will let her choose her own path.
Chaitanya said he wants to spend quality time with his children and watch them enjoy life just like he did in his childhood.
