Telangana Show Jumping Championship 2025 Begins with High-Octane Performances at Nasr Polo
The Telangana Show Jumping Championship 2025, hosted by the Telangana State Equestrian Association (TSEA), galloped into action at the Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy, setting the tone for an exhilarating week of equestrian excellence.
The opening day on November 5, 2025, witnessed an exciting display of agility, precision, and sheer passion as Hyderabad’s top riders took to the arena. From young prodigies to seasoned competitors, each performance reflected the growing strength of Telangana’s equestrian community.
Day One Highlights: Azam, Khaled, and Aamair Lead the Pack
The championship opened with Show Jumping events that saw outstanding performances across multiple categories.

In the 70 cm to 80 cm (10–12 years) category, Mir Najamuddin Azam of Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy stole the show with a double clear round in 40.47 seconds, securing the gold medal and earning the title of the fastest rider of the day.
Not far behind, Aizah Mir impressed with flawless form and finesse, finishing with a double clear round in 40.53 seconds, just fractions behind Azam — drawing cheers from the spectators for her near-perfect performance.
In the Open Category (70 cm to 80 cm), Khaled Ali of the Royal Caballo Club claimed the gold medal, finishing with a clear round in 53.27 seconds, showcasing remarkable consistency and control throughout his ride.
The 80 cm to 90 cm (13–14 years) category kept the energy high. Mohammed Aamair Shanawaz, representing Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy, took first place with 4 faults and a time of 32.74 seconds. Daniya Fatima from Royal Caballo Club followed in second, clocking 53.30 seconds with 4 faults, while Aizah Mir, continuing her strong streak, finished third in the same category.
In the 80 cm to 90 cm Open Category, Reddy Vanga Abhiraj of Royal Caballo Club took gold with a swift clear round in 34.89 seconds. Mohammed Faizan Khan from Stallion Horse Riding Academy secured second place at 40.54 seconds, and Mir Najamuddin Azam added another podium finish for Nasr Polo, clocking 43.03 seconds to take third place.
The first day concluded with enthusiastic applause from the audience and warm appreciation from the organisers, who lauded the riders for their discipline, dedication, and evolving skill levels. The event not only underscored the competitive edge of Telangana’s riders but also reflected the strong training ecosystems built by academies like Nasr Polo, Royal Caballo, and Stallion.
With the Regional Equestrian League (REL) 2025 and the Telangana Show Jumping Championship continuing till November 9, anticipation is building for the Dressage and final Show Jumping rounds, where India’s finest riders will compete for top honours.
Organized by the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) in collaboration with the Telangana State Equestrian Association (TSEA), the event forms part of the Regional Equestrian League 2025, a national series aimed at identifying and nurturing young talent across the country.
