Why this week matters for small & big screen

This week’s line-up highlights how audiences now divide their time between theatres and streaming screens. For those who love the big-screen experience, Jolly LLB 3 and A Big Bold Beautiful Journey will be hard to miss. At the same time, binge-watchers have plenty to choose from, with Netflix alone offering a blend of series, documentaries and feature films.

Regional industries are also making their presence felt, with Telugu cinema leading the charge. The diversity of languages and themes ensures that viewers can travel from a Marathi family drama to a Tamil thriller or a Bengali romance within a single week.

In short, whether you’re drawn to superheroes, satire, family fun or courtroom battles, 15–21 September is a week that reflects the full spectrum of modern film and streaming culture on small & big screen.
