The Summer I Turned Pretty, Gavin Casalegno, Christopher Briney, Prime Video, Jenny Han, Season 3, teen drama, coming-of-age, Lola Tung, Amazon series.
As the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty gets ready to release, the cast reflects on the strong friendships they’ve built both on and off screen. Returning to Cousins Beach for one last summer, the story continues to follow Belly and her connection with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah.
Gavin Casalegno, who plays Jeremiah, shared that filming the show has felt like being at summer camp. “We’ve had so much fun on set,” he said. “There were days when we just played poker or hung out while waiting to shoot. Those real moments helped us bring more depth to our characters. It really feels like we’re at summer camp.”
Christopher Briney, who plays Conrad, added that their bond off screen made a big impact on their performances. “I feel lucky to have worked with Gavin and the rest of the cast. Building that brotherly dynamic has been really important for the story. It adds something real to the love triangle with Belly, because at the heart of it is unconditional love between brothers.”
This heartfelt connection between the cast has helped shape the emotional tone of the show, especially as the final season promises a powerful conclusion.
The show is led by creators Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka, with Han also serving as an executive producer. The cast includes Lola Tung as Belly, along with Sean Kaufman, Jackie Chung, and Rachel Blanchard in key roles.
Season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres on 16 July with two episodes, followed by weekly releases every Thursday until 17 September. The show will stream exclusively on Prime Video in six languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Fans can expect one last nostalgic, emotional summer at Cousins Beach.
