Munawar Faruqui Returns as Arif in Explosive Teaser for First Copy Season 2

Comedian and actor Munawar Faruqui is back as Arif in the gripping teaser for First Copy Season 2, which will soon stream for free on Amazon MX Player. The show’s much-awaited return has already sparked excitement among fans who loved the first season’s raw and realistic take on Mumbai’s film piracy scene in the 1990s.

The new teaser offers a glimpse into a darker and more dangerous world. Munawar Faruqui’s character, Arif, once ruled the underground piracy network but now faces the ghosts of his past. The story teases a battle for survival where ambition, betrayal, and revenge collide. As old allies turn into rivals and new threats emerge, the teaser poses one burning question, can Arif reclaim his empire, or will he fall victim to his own power?

The second season promises higher stakes and intense storytelling, building upon the success of its predecessor. Apart from Faruqui, the ensemble cast includes Krystle D’Souza, Gulshan Grover, Saqib Ayub, Ashi Singh, Meiyang Chang, Inam Ul Haq, and Raza Murad. The latest addition to the cast is veteran actor Nawab Shah, who is expected to bring further depth to the series.

The official trailer of First Copy Season 2 is set to launch on 29th October, giving fans a full look at what’s in store. The series will stream exclusively on Amazon MX Player and will also be available across the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Airtel Xstream, all free to watch.

The teaser suggests that First Copy Season 2 will not just revisit Arif’s world but take viewers deeper into the politics, danger, and emotions that define it. With its sharp visuals, layered characters, and dramatic tension, the series aims to deliver a story that’s as thrilling as it is personal.
