Telugu Cinema All Set for Pan India Dhamaka – Half the year has gone by, and Telugu cinema has already seen a mix of hits and flops. Some films released with high expectations failed to impress, while a few surprised everyone with massive success. Now, all eyes are on the next six months, which promise a grand lineup of Pan India films.
From July to December 2025, major Telugu stars are ready to take over theatres across the country. Audiences can expect two big releases almost every month, making it a packed calendar for cinema lovers.
July: Queen Anushka and Power Star Lead the Charge
– July begins with Anushka Shetty’s powerful role in ‘Ghati’, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film has already created a buzz with its intense teaser and is set to release on 11 July.
– Later in the month, on 24 July, Pawan Kalyan will return with the long-awaited historical drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, also directed by Krish. This marks Pawan’s first-ever historical film.
– In between these two, ‘Junior’, starring Kireeti Reddy and Sreeleela, hits screens on 18 July.
– There’s also talk that Netflix is pushing to release Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Kingdom’ on 25 July, but it may move to August depending on the box office competition.
August: Rajinikanth vs Hrithik in a Battle of Giants
August is all about star power and action.
– On 14 August, two big dubbed films will clash: Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’, featuring Nagarjuna, and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War 2’, starring Jr. NTR.
– Both films have high expectations, with Telugu fans eager to see their favourite stars play key roles.
– Ravi Teja brings his energy with ‘Mass Jathara’, releasing on 27 August.
September: Double Treat for Pawan Kalyan Fans
– Pawan Kalyan fans will be thrilled in September, as he returns again with ‘OG – They Call Him OG’, a gangster action drama directed by Sujeeth, set to release on 25 September.
– On the same day, Nandamuri Balakrishna will make his Pan India debut with ‘Akhanda 2 – Tandavam’, directed by Boyapati Srinu. This is the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Akhanda’, and is expected to attract strong attention, especially in North India.

– Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Madarasi’ – 5 September

– October is fully loaded, with many films targeting the Diwali season.
– On 1 October, Dhanush returns with ‘Idli Kadaai’, and Rishab Shetty brings ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ to the big screen.
– 17 October will see the release of ‘Telusu Kada’, a festive entertainer, and ‘Dude’, starring Pradeep Ranganathan, produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
November: Still Open
Surprisingly, November has no major confirmed releases so far. However, industry sources say several producers are eyeing this slot and announcements are expected soon.
December: The Year-End Blast with Prabhas and More
Ending 2025 with a bang:
– On 5 December, Prabhas stars in his first horror film ‘The Raja Saab’, which also promises romance and comedy in a vintage setting.
– Rumours suggest that ‘Akhanda 2’ may also re-release or expand its release for the Christmas season.
– Meanwhile, Adivi Sesh is set to arrive on 25 December with his action film ‘Dacoit’, co-starring Mrunal Thakur.
