Paropakar 2025 – Art for Education -The two-day fundraising art exhibition came to a close with an enthusiastic response from art collectors, patrons, and philanthropists. Held at The Culinary Lounge, Jubilee Hills, the exhibition not only showcased a stunning collection of artworks but also fulfilled a larger purpose—supporting free education for underprivileged and tribal children for Nachiketa Tapovan.

Curated by Sushma Thota, the show featured iconic works by Indian masters including Thota Vaikuntam, Jogen Chowdhury, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Shakti Burman, Ramesh Gorjala, and Aelay Laxman. The art on display was a combination of personal collections of the curator, works from the Vaikuntam Trust, and generous contributions from contemporary artists and galleries—all aligned to a single cause.
Sushma Thota, the curator and driving force behind the fundraiser, expressed her deep gratitude.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every visitor who walked in and supported the cause with such warmth and enthusiasm. I am especially thankful to the artists who believed in this mission and readily shared their work. They donated their pieces wholeheartedly, and together we created something truly meaningful. The response from the art community has been both humbling and inspiring.”
She added, “It’s been an emotional journey—from conceptualizing the show to seeing collectors not just acquire beautiful art but also contribute to a child’s future. Through this exhibition, every artwork sold became more than just a collectible—it became a gift of education.” She thanked Special Chief Secretary ITE &C, Telangana Mr Jayesh Ranjan for his words of encouragement.
Jayesh Ranjan inaugurated the show with senior artist Thota Vaikuntham and Laxman Aelay. He said that government will support such great initiatives for the bright future of children. He offered Nachiketa Tapovan support for any exchange programs , educational tours that can give better knowledge to kids.
A significant portion of the proceeds from the show will be donated to Nachiketa Tapovan, directly supporting its mission to provide free, value-based education to tribal, underprivileged, and first-generation learners. Contributions from the exhibition will help cover essentials like tuition, books, uniforms, and nutritious meals.
Paropakar 2025 has reinforced the belief that art, when guided by purpose, can indeed become a powerful tool for social change.
