Rana Naidu Season 2 – The Fixer Is Back — And This Time, It’s Personal
Brace yourself, because Netflix’s most explosive Indian crime drama is ready for Round 2. Rana Naidu Season 2 premieres on June 13, and from what we’ve seen in the brand-new official trailer, this season is grittier, bloodier, and more personal than ever before.
The popular action-packed series that debuted in 2023 — starring real-life uncle-nephew duo Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati — returns with even darker secrets and deadlier stakes. But this time, the family feud threatens to destroy everything.
Season 1 Recap: The Fixer’s Messiest Job Was His Own Family
In Season 1, Rana Naidu lived up to his title as the fixer to Bollywood stars, businessmen, and politicians. From covering up murders to silencing scandals, there was no mess he couldn’t clean — except the one brewing at home.
Venkatesh’s character Naga Naidu, a volatile ex-con and Rana’s estranged father, returned to Mumbai and upended Rana’s carefully controlled world. What followed was a twisted tale of betrayal, generational trauma, and morally grey decisions — with plenty of bullets, brawls, and brooding.
While some viewers loved the unapologetically raw portrayal of a dysfunctional Telugu-Hyderabad-origin family in Mumbai’s underbelly, others found the series too bold.
The show sparked controversy for its use of profanity and bold scenes. A News18 report described it as “the most profane Indian show on Netflix,” sparking online debates and audience backlash in conservative circles.
Season 2: More Enemies, More Fire, and a Lot More Chaos
This season, Rana faces a deadly adversary — Rauf, played by Arjun Rampal — a man with his own vendetta and a chaotic presence that turns the family’s world upside down.
The trailer hints at war within the Naidu family, blurred loyalties, and a storm that’s about to consume everything Rana built. From jaw-dropping action to emotionally explosive confrontations, Season 2 dives deeper into the scars that bind — and break — families.
“This time, the fight isn’t just for survival. It’s for family,” says Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India.
Why This Season Might Be Even Bigger Than the First
-
Arjun Rampal joins the cast as the dark horse villain — cool, calculating, and menacing.
-
Hyderabadi swagger is back, courtesy of Venkatesh Daggubati’s Naga, bringing street-smart humour and old-school wisdom.
-
Emotional stakes are higher, says creator Karan Anshuman, promising a messier family dynamic with betrayals, shifting loyalties, and high-octane action.

One thing’s clear — Rana isn’t fixing others’ mess anymore. He’s fixing his own… if it doesn’t destroy him first.
