RCB Secure IPL 2026 Top-Two Finish Despite 55-Run Defeat to SRH

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru may have suffered a heavy 55-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their final league-stage clash of IPL 2026 on Friday (May 22), but the result was not enough to deny RCB a coveted top-two finish in the points table.

Batting first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium after SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss, Hyderabad once again showcased their batting firepower by piling up a massive 255/4 in 20 overs.
