Rishab Shetty

Rishab Shetty, the acclaimed actor behind Kantara, is set to star in a new historical action drama with Sithara Entertainments. Titled Production No. 36, the film is set in the 18th century in Bengal, during a time of political unrest and rising rebellion.

Known for backing major hits, Sithara Entertainments is taking on another ambitious project. This time, they partner with Rishab Shetty, one of Kannada cinema’s most respected stars, for a gripping fictional tale rooted in history.

The film will be directed by Ashwin Gangaraju, praised for his intense storytelling style. He aims to bring audiences a larger-than-life saga filled with action, drama, and powerful characters.

Production No. 36 will be filmed in Telugu and Kannada and will also be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam—making it a pan-India release.

Though Rishab is also preparing for Kantara 2, this new film is an entirely separate project. His collaboration with Sithara shows his commitment to exploring bold, story-driven cinema across languages.

The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners, with presentation by Srikara Studios.

With a strong team behind it and a unique setting, Production No. 36 is already generating excitement as one of Indian cinema’s most awaited upcoming films. More details, including the full cast and release timeline, will be revealed soon.
