Sources say the shooting was supposed to finish in around 130 days, but only 100 days have been completed so far. Director Bhansali recently shared in an interview that about 90 more days of filming are needed, especially for the key scenes.
This delay means the film’s release may be pushed to March 2026. It is also being reported as one of the most expensive Bollywood films currently in production.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is also working on Ramayana, in which he plays Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi. That film is expected to release during Diwali next year. With Love and War set to arrive just months before that, the buzz around both projects is building rapidly.
Alia Bhatt’s recent box office success has also added more excitement to Love and War, making it one of the most talked-about upcoming films.
