Ai+ Smartphone has officially launched its latest budget smartphone, the Pulse 2, in India with a starting price of ₹5,999. The device went on sale on March 11, 2026, at 12 noon via Flipkart, targeting value-focused consumers looking for strong performance and modern features at an affordable price point.
Hyderabad has emerged as a key market for the brand’s expansion strategy. The city ranks among Ai+ Smartphone’s top 10 markets in the country, driven by a growing base of young, digitally active users who rely heavily on smartphones for streaming, gaming, and everyday connectivity. With smartphone adoption and online purchasing continuing to grow across Telangana, the company sees significant opportunity in the region.
According to Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, the new device builds on the foundation established by its predecessor. He stated that Pulse 1 was designed to deliver strong performance and value, while Pulse 2 takes that promise further with upgrades that cater to users seeking better performance and a smoother overall experience.
Key Upgrades in Pulse 2
Pulse 2 introduces several improvements over the previous generation. The front camera has been upgraded from 5MP to 8MP, while the battery capacity has increased from 5000mAh to 6000mAh. The display refresh rate has also been enhanced from 90Hz to 120Hz, providing smoother visuals for everyday use, including scrolling and gaming.
Durability has improved as well, with the phone now offering an IP64 rating compared to the IP54 rating on the earlier model. The device continues to feature a 50MP dual AI rear camera designed to deliver strong photography performance in the budget segment.
Software and Design
The smartphone runs on Android 16 paired with NxtQuantum OS, an upgrade from Android 15 on the previous model. The software platform focuses on improved privacy, system efficiency, transparency, and a smoother user experience.
Pulse 2 also introduces a redesigned form factor for improved in-hand comfort and a cleaner look. The device is available in five color options: Green, Blue, Pink, Purple, and Black.
