Claysutra Gachibowli

Claysutra Gachibowli – Hyderabad’s pottery studio & café where art, food, and creativity meet. workshops, team events & comfort food await

Walking into Claysutra’s new Gachibowli studio and café feels like entering a world where art takes centre stage. Ceramic and terracotta murals line the walls, ceramic birds swing gently from tree branches, and the buzz of novice potters at the wheel fills the air. It’s earthy, vibrant, and full of creative energy.

Claysutra Cafe

We started our visit at the Paint Your Pot station, choosing plain ceramic coasters to transform into our own colourful keepsakes. The process was simple but surprisingly immersive, with friendly instructors giving us tips and letting us experiment freely. While our painted pieces will return to us glazed and finished in a couple of weeks, the real highlight was stepping up to the potter’s wheel for a quick hands-on session. The rhythmic spin of the clay was grounding—one of those rare activities that won’t let your thoughts wander. Relaxing, mindful, and deeply therapeutic.

A Menu That Matches the Mood

Pottery is just half the story here. The café offers an extensive menu, ranging from breakfast staples to Pan-Asian and Indian comfort dishes. We kicked things off with a refreshing Claysutra Mojito, followed by starters that hit all the right notes. The beetroot Shikampuri kebabs stood out with their earthy sweetness balanced against classic spices, while the mix of appetisers kept us fuelled through our creative afternoon.

Za’atar Chicken Sliders, Stuffed Veg Bao, Tempura Butterfly Prawns, Shikampuri Kabab, Aglio Olio Spaghetti with Chicken & Mushroom, Peri Peri Grilled Chicken with Egg Rice, Forest Fire Chicken Pizza, Zucchini Koftas with Coconut Rice, Chicken Tikka Lasagna, and Coriander Noodles with Soya Garlic Sauce – some popular, others with enticing twists to gladden the taste buds.
