Sreeleela is going to make her bollywood debut with Aashiqui 3. She has Telugu roots, first entered the film industry through the Kannada hit Kiss. She later made her Tollywood debut in K. Raghavendra Rao’s Pelli SandaD, where her impressive dancing skills and screen presence quickly won her a fan base. Her real breakthrough, however, came with Dhamaka, which turned into a commercial blockbuster and opened the doors to a flurry of offers, nearly half a dozen projects in quick succession.
While some of these films were hits and others underperformed, Sreeleela continued to take on new roles without pause. She reached a new level of fame after starring alongside Mahesh Babu in Guntur Kaaram and featuring in the chart-topping item song “Kissik” in Pushpa 2. The latter not only boosted profile of Sreeleela across India but also earned her opportunities in Bollywood.
Her Hindi debut will be opposite Kartik Aaryan in a romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu. Initially rumoured to be titled Aashiqui 3, the makers have since clarified they are considering a different name. Fans across languages are eagerly awaiting the project, which is set for a Christmas release this year. The festive season will also see competition from Alia Bhatt’s action-packed spy thriller Alpha, which has already generated significant buzz.
In Telugu cinema, Sreeleela is pairing up with Pawan Kalyan for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, a film expected to be a major commercial success. She has also reportedly signed on for two more Telugu projects. Meanwhile, in Tamil cinema, she is set to star in Parashakti alongside Sivakarthikeyan, directed by Sudha Kongara.
Currently balancing films in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, Sreeleela is clearly positioning herself as a pan-India star. Fans and industry insiders alike believe she has the potential to become one of the country’s leading actresses in the coming years.
