Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Wedding to Be Ultra-Private With Strict No-Phone Rule

Leading Telugu actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reportedly preparing for a low-key wedding in Udaipur on 26 February, and have taken the unusual step of imposing a strict no-phone policy for guests to keep the celebrations private.

According to reports emerging from multiple media outlets, the couple has planned a small, intimate ceremony that will run over a few days of festivities, starting on 24 February and culminating with the wedding itself on the 26th. The guest list for the event is said to be limited to immediate family and a close circle of friends, with no colleagues from the film industry invited to attend the main ceremony.

To prevent any photographs, videos or details from circulating online, the couple has reportedly instructed attendees not to bring mobile phones into the wedding venue. Even the professional photographers and videographers hired for the day are said to have signed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to ensure confidentiality and restrict content from leaking before, during or after the event.

Such a no-phone rule is uncommon for celebrity weddings in India, where social media and paparazzi coverage typically plays a major role in public interest stories. The measure clearly reflects Vijay and Rashmika desire to maintain a personal atmosphere and protect their private moments from intense media and fan scrutiny.

Reports also indicate that the couple has intentionally kept the ceremony itself very exclusive, with actors and other film fraternity members not invited to the intimate gathering. Instead, a larger celebration involving peers from the entertainment industry is expected to take place later, with a wedding reception rumoured to be planned in Hyderabad in early March after the Udaipur ceremony.

Insiders have further suggested that both Vijay and Rashmika have cleared their schedules immediately after the wedding, planning to take around a month off before returning to work commitments.

Neither star has publicly confirmed the wedding plans, but recent leaks of invitations and reports from reputable media have added considerable weight to the reports that the ceremony will go ahead on 26 February.

As anticipation builds among fans nationwide, this combination of privacy and strict access controls underlines the couple’s wish to savour their special day away from the glare of constant public attention.
