ZEE5, one of India’s top OTT platforms, is adding a gripping supernatural thriller to its Telugu originals with Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting. Premiering on June 27, the series is directed by Poluru Krishna—best known for Recce—and produced by Sriram under the banner South Indian Screens.

Set in the 1980s, the narrative follows a young constable, PC Meena (played by Abhignya Vuthaluru), who is newly transferred to a rural police station. Her first assignment? Investigating the strange, sudden deaths of newlywed brides in the remote village of Viraatapalem. What unfolds is a layered mix of suspense, superstition, and chilling twists that aim to grip viewers from start to finish.

Unveiled at a press event in Hyderabad by actor Naveen Chandra, the trailer teases a story steeped in eerie visuals, local folklore, and rising tension.
