The third single from the upcoming film Paradha—titled Yegareyi Nee Rekkale—has been released, striking an emotional chord with its message of liberation and self-discovery. Featuring lead actors Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran, and Sangitha, the song presents a powerful visual and lyrical journey of women breaking away from societal limitations.
Paradha, directed by Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame, is a women-led rural drama that blends emotional storytelling with subtle social commentary. Backed by Raj & DK (creators of The Family Man) and produced by Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva under the Ananda Media banner, the film stars Rag Mayur in a pivotal role.
Set in a conservative village backdrop, the film’s narrative focuses on the protagonist, played by Anupama Parameswaran, as she ventures out of a confined world into a life filled with hope, friendship, and freedom. In Yegareyi Nee Rekkale, the protagonist hits the road with her friends, played by Darshana and Sangitha, exploring life on her own terms for the first time.
Composed by Gopi Sundar, with heartfelt lyrics by Vanamali, the song captures the joy of rediscovery. Ritesh G Rao lends his voice, delivering the track with soul and intensity that reflects the emotional transformation of the characters. The visuals portray the trio enjoying the open road, free from expectations and rooted customs.
With cinematography by Mridul Sujit Sen and editing by Dharmendra Kakarala, Paradha promises to be both emotionally impactful and visually striking. The film is set for release on 22nd August, and with every new glimpse—songs, promos, and visuals—it is generating increasing anticipation.
Blending tradition with empowerment, Paradha is shaping up to be a poignant story of female camaraderie, growth, and freedom.
