Sonu Nigam Expands ‘Satrangi Re’ Concerts to 3 Hours After Massive Fan Response

Hyderabad’s debut to introduce the extended 180-minute format following Mumbai’s record-breaking opening

Hyderabad, November 17, 2025 — After a roaring start in Mumbai that attracted an audience of over 13,000, the team behind Sonu Nigam’s ‘Satrangi Re’ tour has announced that all upcoming concerts will now run for a full three hours. The decision comes following an unprecedented demand from fans who wished to hear more of the singer’s iconic hits. The extended concert format will first be showcased in Hyderabad at The League Arena on November 29, 2025.

The Mumbai performance, which set the tone for the tour, left the audience requesting additional tracks that were not included in the original 2.5-hour set. Responding to this, Sonu Nigam confirmed the extension, expressing that several favourites like ‘Kill Dil’, ‘Sapna Jahan’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’ deserved a place in the lineup. He shared that the goal was to offer fans the most complete musical experience possible and allow ‘Satrangi Re’ to flourish in its fullest expression.

Rabbani Mustafa Khan, Organiser and Co-founder of NR Talent & Event Management, stated that Mumbai’s overwhelming success essentially necessitated a longer show. According to him, thousands of requests poured in urging the team to extend the performances to three hours. He credited Sonu Nigam’s dedication to prioritising audience emotion and connection as the biggest reason the change was possible.

Further emphasising the response, Namrata Gupta Khan, Co-founder of NR Talent & Event Management, noted that the Mumbai edition had transformed ‘Satrangi Re’ into a nationwide cultural moment. She said that fans across India were eager for longer concerts, and that Sonu Nigam himself was enthusiastic about delivering an expanded setlist to fulfil those expectations.

Anil Makhija, COO – Live Entertainment & Venues at BookMyShow, described the Mumbai show as a “magical” experience. He highlighted that the tour was designed as an emotional, immersive journey that captures the many colours of love. Seeing an entire arena sing along with Sonu Nigam, he said, proved the extraordinary bond music forges—and ultimately inspired the decision to increase the concert duration.

The ‘Satrangi Re’ India Tour is being praised for its high-end production, featuring cinematic lighting, LED wristbands, dynamic stage mechanics and an audio-visual setup crafted to heighten the emotional narrative. The concert’s setlist covers seven shades of love and includes chartbusters such as ‘Bijuria’, ‘Pardesiya’, ‘Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din’, ‘Mere Dholna’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, and ‘Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin’.
