Tank Bund is gearing up for the Saddula Bathukamma celebrations on Sunday, with the Telangana government making elaborate arrangements to showcase the State’s rich cultural heritage and traditions. The festivities will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao reviewed the arrangements with officials of the Tourism and Language and Culture departments and directed them to ensure the smooth conduct of the celebrations.
The Minister stressed the need for meticulous planning and coordination among the departments concerned. He instructed officials to address all logistical requirements in advance and ensure that visitors faced no inconvenience.

Around 700 artistes will present cultural programmes showcasing Telangana’s folk traditions and indigenous art forms. A laser show and a fireworks display are also planned as part of the celebrations.
