Anil Ravipudi Shuts Down Venkatesh Film Rumours

Tollywood director Anil Ravipudi has stepped in to address a wave of speculation on social media about his next film project, particularly surrounding frequent rumours linking him with veteran actor Venkatesh Daggubati. After the massive success of his recent release Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which has been widely discussed online and celebrated for its star cast and box office performance, chatter about what’s coming next has been growing rapidly.

Fans and insiders alike began circulating posts and commentary claiming that Ravipudi was planning a fresh collaboration with Venkatesh, potentially teasing a sequel or a new story for an upcoming release. Some discussions even went further, purportedly detailing casting choices, plot ideas and possible release timing, all based on online speculation rather than confirmed studio announcements.

Taking to social media himself, Ravipudi chose to tackle the rumours with a blend of humour and clarity. In a post that quickly spread across Telugu film fan pages, the director joked that he hadn’t even put pen to paper on any new script yet. In a playful tone, he pointed out that some reports seemed to have already fixed the cast list, story line and even a title without any official information. In keeping with his comedic style, for which his films are known, he used a laughing meme to lighten the mood, hinting that some fans might be imagining details faster than he himself can write them.

Ravipudi acknowledged the enthusiasm of movie fans, saying he understood their eagerness to know what’s next. He also promised that official news about his next project, including who he will work with and what kind of story it will be, would be announced soon. His remarks appeared to signal that while nothing is confirmed yet, plans are underway behind the scenes and that an official reveal could be expected in the coming months.

The buzz didn’t arise in isolation. Ravipudi and Venkatesh have a strong track record of successful collaborations, including the hit family comedy films F2: Fun and Frustration and F3, as well as Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which connected well with audiences during festival release windows. This history, coupled with the major success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, has only heightened curiosity about their next effort together.

For now, Tollywood fans will have to wait for an official announcement to separate fact from online chatter. Ravipudi’s light-hearted response may have put a temporary stop to the rumour mill, but it has also built even more anticipation for whatever the director and his collaborators have in store next.
