In a significant step towards expanding the reach of authentic Ayurveda into modern urban settings, Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal (AVS) today formally announced the launch of its first franchise-based wellness centre under its new vertical, Trinaya, at a press conference held at the Hyderabad Press Club, Somajiguda.
The new centre, Trinaya, Banjara Hills, located in Banjara Hills, represents a strategic evolution for AVS as it enters a franchise-led model for the first time in its long-standing history. This initiative is designed to extend the institution’s legacy of classical Ayurvedic healing into accessible, neighborhood-based wellness formats that cater to contemporary lifestyles.
The announcement was made in the presence of senior leadership and partners, including Dr. P. M. Varier, Dr. K. Muraleedharan, K. Harikumar, and P. S. Varaprasad, who shared insights into the vision, legacy, and future roadmap of the initiative.
A New Chapter in Ayurveda Delivery
With over a century of experience, Arya Vaidya Sala has been at the forefront of preserving and promoting Ayurveda in its most authentic form. The introduction of Trinaya marks a thoughtful transition, bringing time-tested therapies into a structured, patient-friendly format that aligns with the expectations of today’s urban population.
Unlike hospital-based care, Trinaya centres are designed to address lifestyle-related and chronic conditions that do not require hospitalization, offering personalized treatment plans, therapies, and consultations delivered by professionals trained within the AVS system.
Leadership Perspectives
Dr. P. M. Varier, Managing Trustee, Arya Vaidya Sala, said:
“Arya Vaidya Sala has been providing authentic Ayurvedic treatments and medicines for decades, and we have a strong and growing patient base from Andhra Pradesh. After establishing our presence in Secunderabad nearly 25 years ago, this new initiative reflects our next phase of growth through a franchise model. The Trinaya centre in Banjara Hills allows us to bring our treatment philosophy closer to people in a more accessible format.”
1. Harikumar, CEO, Arya Vaidya Sala, added:
“Trinaya is a natural extension of Arya Vaidya Sala’s 125-year lineage in Ayurveda. It has been conceptualized as a sub-brand that delivers focused wellness and therapeutic care for conditions that do not require hospitalization. Through Trinaya, we aim to take the benefits of Ayurveda and holistic wellness directly to people’s doorsteps, ensuring both authenticity and convenience.”
2. S. Varaprasad, Director, YUP Ritecare (P) Ltd, noted:
“Ritecare’s journey has been rooted in building reliable and patient-centric healthcare services across India. With Trinaya, we are entering the integrative healthcare space by combining traditional Ayurvedic practices with disciplined operations and a strong focus on patient experience. This centre is part of a broader vision to create trusted, scalable wellness ecosystems.”
Blending Tradition with Modern Healthcare Delivery
The Trinaya Banjara Hills centre is expected to function as a hub for preventive healthcare, lifestyle management, and rejuvenation therapies. By combining the clinical depth of Ayurveda with structured service delivery and operational excellence, the initiative aims to address the growing demand for holistic and non-invasive treatment options.
Backed by Ritecare, which brings experience in home healthcare and service operations across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the centre is positioned to deliver a seamless and patient-focused experience.
