A. Run Rave Club
I’m Sonu Reddy, founder of RunnRave, an engineer by training and a content creator by passion. My co-founder, Guru Reddy Vanga, is an actor and fashion model. Somewhere along the way, our shared creative energy aligned, and that’s how Runnrave Club was born.
We bonded over our love for movement, coffee, music, and meaningful conversations, with a belief that Sundays should be more than just Netflix and chill. What started as a simple idea soon turned into something that began to redefine how people experience their weekends.
1. What inspired me to launch RunnRave Club?
Honestly? A café. I was sitting with my friends, sipping coffee, just talking and laughing and it hit me: why can’t more mornings feel exactly like this, but with a little jog thrown in? That’s literally where RunNrave Club was born. There was no grand fitness mission, no business plan, no pitch deck just that one warm, easy Sunday feeling we wanted to bottle up and share with more people. And slowly, people started showing up. Then more people. Then even more. And here we are.
2. How I am building community among such diverse members?
We don’t call ourselves a fitness club. We’re definitely not a dating app either though honestly, we’ve probably seen a few beautiful friendships blossom along the way! We’re just a club where you jog a little, sip your coffee, play some fun activation games, dance a little, and suddenly your Sunday has a completely different energy to it. When you take away the pressure of performance, people just show up as themselves fully, freely. A software engineer runs next to a homemaker. A student jogs beside a 40-year old. Nobody’s keeping score, nobody’s judging pace, nobody’s checking who’s fastest. That’s the magic. That’s RunNrave.
3. What challenges have i faced, and what’s my vision?
Hyderabad loves its lazy late mornings and its biryani and honestly, we deeply respect that! But getting people to actually step out on a Sunday, willingly, joyfully? That was the real challenge. We had to make it feel genuinely worth it not like a workout you force yourself through, but like a plan you’re actually excited about the night before. The vision? We want Run Rave to be that one thing people credit for changing their entire week not because they ran 5K or hit a PR, but because they laughed out loud, made a new connection, and somehow started Monday feeling completely alive.
4. Coffee Raves & Culture – How do “run plus” innovations reflect Hyderabad’s evolving culture?
Coffee raves and matcha chats happened because we had a realization pretty early on that run was just the excuse. The real thing people were craving was connection, joy, and a reason to leave the house that didn’t feel transactional. Hyderabad’s young crowd is already curious, expressive, and hungry for new experiences, they just needed the right space. We gave fitness a vibe upgrade. When your post-run reward is a great cup of coffee, good company, spontaneous dancing, and music that actually moves you, it stops feeling like exercise and starts feeling like the best part of your entire week. That’s the culture we’re building at Run Rave joyful, open, welcoming, and absolutely zero judgment Always.
