He-Man And The Masters of The Universe Telugu: Nikhil Siddhartha Talks About His Memories of Eternia’s Superhero

He-Man and The Masters of the Universe releases on 5th June in India, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

He-Man and The Masters of the Universe is set to release in Telugu, along with several other Indian languages, this Friday. While fans are eagerly awaiting the big-screen debut of the beloved 1980s superhero, Telugu audiences have an added reason to celebrate, actor Nikhil Siddhartha has lent his voice to He-Man in the Telugu version of the film.

The Karthikeya actor revealed that, like countless children who grew up in the 1980s, he too watched He-Man on television and admired the iconic hero. Reflecting on the opportunity, Nikhil shared that being approached to voice He-Man was a surreal moment for him, especially given the character’s lasting influence on his childhood. He added that bringing one of his earliest superheroes to life for a new generation of audiences has been a truly special experience.

“It is truly an honour to become a part of the incredible legacy of He-Man. Like countless people of my generation, I grew up admiring He-Man and everything he stood for. As a child, I wanted to be as strong, fearless, and righteous as him. Even today, those qualities continue to inspire me, and I believe the values he represents have stayed with me and influenced the person I have become,” he said.

The actor added, “Because of my deep connection with the character, being given the opportunity to voice He-Man in Telugu was a very special and emotional moment for me. It felt like life has come full circle. To lend my voice to a character I have loved and admired for so many years is a memory I will always cherish.”

For Nikhil, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is an extra special film for it marks his first association with an international film in this capacity. “Being trusted with such an iconic character is something I am immensely grateful for, and I will wear this opportunity as a badge of honour for years to come. I can’t wait for audiences to experience this epic adventure on the big screen,” he said.

Backed by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Travis Knight, He-Man and The Masters of the Universe stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Jared Leto as Skeletor, with Man-At-Arms played by Idris Elba. The film also features Alison Brie, Morena Baccarin, and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto. The film aims to bring one of pop culture’s most iconic fantasy worlds back to life for a new generation.

Sony Pictures Releasing International releases He-Man and The Masters of the Universe theatrically on 5th June 2026 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
