To honour the 121st birth anniversary of one of India’s most respected industrial pioneers, JRD Tata, Amazon MX Player and Almighty Motion Picture have unveiled the first look of their upcoming original series Made in India—A Titan Story. The series will feature veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah in the role of JRD Tata, bringing the icon’s journey and influence to life on screen.
The show explores the incredible achievements of J.R.D. Tata and his impact on shaping modern India. Known for his forward-thinking vision and dedication to the country, Tata played a crucial role in building industries that became household names. The series focuses particularly on the creation of Titan, India’s most beloved watch brand.
Directed by Robby Grewal and written by Karan Vyas, the series is produced by Prabhleen Sandhu, founder of Almighty Motion Picture. It also features a strong ensemble cast, including Jim Sarbh as Xerxes Desai, the man who led the founding of Titan. Other key actors in the series include Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra.
Made in India – A Titan Story is set for release in early 2026 and will stream for free on Amazon MX Player. Viewers will be able to watch it through the MX Player app on mobile phones, connected TVs, the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Airtel Xstream.
