CM Revanth Reddy Formalizes MoU Between Telangana Tourism and The Culinary Lounge for Culinary Tourism Push

Telangana took a decisive step towards positioning itself as a global hub for culinary and experiential tourism on World Tourism Day at the Telangana Tourism Conclave 2025, held at Shilparamam.

One of the highlights of the conclave was the launch of the Telangana Culinary & Experiential Tourism Accelerator (TCETA), India’s first dedicated accelerator for culinary and experiential tourism. An MoU formalizing the partnership between the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) and *lThe Culinary Lounge (TCL) was handed over by Hon’ble Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, joined by Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, and Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari.

The MoU formalises the partnership between Telangana Tourism and The Culinary Lounge to promote Telangana as Culinary Tourism Destination.

Through TCETA, Telangana aims to nurture food entrepreneurs, mentor startups, and scale ventures in the culinary tourism space. Its flagship programs, RISE and FLY, will provide challenge grants, leadership mentorship, and global exposure to culinary innovators. This aligns with the state’s vision of enhancing tourism’s contribution to SGDP, creating jobs, and strengthening Brand Telangana.

Adding further depth to the initiative, the conclave also witnessed the launch of the Culinary & Cultural Passport of Telangana. The passport is designed to encourage travelers to explore all 33 districts through food, crafts, and festivals. Complementing this was the unveiling of the Telangana Culinary Map by the Chief Minister, a visual showcase of the state’s diverse flavors and culinary heritage.

Speaking on the occasion, Gopi Byluppala said the accelerator and initiatives are not just about food but about giving Telangana’s culture a powerful global identity through culinary diplomacy.

With these pioneering initiatives, Telangana has laid a strong foundation to build its cuisine, crafts, and culture into an unforgettable global tourism experience.
