‘Remembering Razia Baig’ series that was launched early this year featured renowned women in performing arts from across the country, who have done path-breaking work in their respective fields. It started with a bang with Ila Arun and her biography ‘Pardey ke Peeche’ followed by Sohaila Kapur’s ‘Anand hi Anand’ based on her bollywood legend uncle Dev Anand and last month saw Rashmi Seth reminiscing her association with legend Qadir Ali Baig’s ‘Aadhey Adhure’. The tribute to the city’s cultural maven late Begum Razia is gaining fast popularity and fans appeal with a full house so far.
As part of the series, Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation presents an interesting evening featuring renowned actress Suhasini Maniratnam in an on-stage tête-à-tête with theatre revivalist Mohammad Ali Baig.
