Fahadh Faasil confirms two straight Telugu films after Pushpa

Fahadh Faasil is a rare Gen Z actor, who’s quite secure about his identity, not allowing showbiz to overwhelm him and calmly drowns himself in work film after film. After making a smashing debut in Telugu with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, the actor has now signed two more Telugu films, bankrolled by the same producers.

SS Karthikeya, son of SS Rajamouli, who released the Telugu version of Premalu (produced by Fahadh) and tasted success, is co-producing both projects under Arka Media in association with Showing Business. The other producers include Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the makers behind Baahubali.

While one of the films is titled Oxygen, the other project is christened Don’t Trouble The Trouble. Oxygen is reportedly a tale of transformation and friendship, inspired by true events and will be directed by a newcomer Siddhartha Nadella. Don’t Trouble The Trouble is a fun-fantasy tale helmed by Shashank Yeleti.

Oxygen and Don’t Trouble The Trouble are yet to go on floors and both films will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada languages. The latter will hit screens in 2025. Kaala Bhairava scores the music for both films. SS Rajamouli is credited as the presenter for the projects.
