Lakshmi Manchu, who’s been selective about her on-screen appearances in recent years, is back in action with a socio-fantasy tale titled Aadiparvam. She plays the lead role in the film directed by Sanjeev Megoti. Ravula Venkateswara Rao presents the film in collaboration with Anvika Arts and AI Entertainments. To be released in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, Aadiparvam will unfold between 1974 and 1992.
The trailer of the film was launched earlier this week. The film is a mystical drama centred in Yerragudi – where there’s an inter-caste romance, talk of supernatural powers, and redemption with a dose of devotion, action and high-voltage emotions. Jedcherla MLA J Anirudh Reddy, director Neelakanta, realtor Shilpa Pratap Reddy and presenter Ravula Venkateswar Rao unveiled the trailers.
“When Sanjeev narrated the story, I wasn’t sure if he could execute such a vast story in a short span. The film is a culmination of the navarasas and a wide array of emotions and will be liked by all. The director is a sweet guy and I wish the very best to my producers,” Lakshmi Manchu said. The actress was later honoured by scores of fans at the venue.
The film also stars Aditya Om, Ester Noronha, Gemini Suresh, Srijita Ghosh, Suhasini and Siva Kantamaneni in key roles.Madhav Saiba, Sanjiev Megoti, B Sultan Vali, Open Banana and Lubech Lee Marvin scored the music for the film which has cinematography by S N Harish. K V Ramana is the art director and Pavan Sekhar Pasupuleti is the editor respectively. The release date of the drama will be announced shortly.
