The Telangana Government has officially allowed shops and commercial establishments to remain open till 5 AM during Ramzan 2026, ensuring that Hyderabad’s beloved late-night culture continues uninterrupted.
For Hyderabadis, Ramzan is more than a religious observance; it is a season when the city transforms after sunset. As families break their fast with Iftar and the night gradually unfolds, markets begin to buzz with shoppers, food enthusiasts, and visitors exploring the festive atmosphere.
Recognising the city’s unique rhythm, the Telangana Government has granted extended operating hours to commercial establishments, allowing shops to remain open until the early hours of the morning during the Ramzan period. Areas around Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Madina Building, and the historic Old City markets are expected to witness the usual Ramzan magic, from glittering bangles and embroidered kurtas to the irresistible aroma of haleem, kebabs, and freshly baked sheermal.
