It has been over two years since his last film, and Kartikeya is now ready to make his comeback.
Kartikeya Gummakonda Turns Director With Comeback, First Glimpse Unveiled on Birthday
After a two-year gap as a lead actor, Kartikeya is starring in a film titled Comeback. In an exciting upgrade, this one also marks his directorial debut. The project was announced today, marking his birthday (September 21). A special glimpse was also released on the occasion. The film is being produced under the Kartikeya Creative Works banner, with his wife Lohitha Reddy serving as the producer.
“It has been three years since we last heard his name in the boxing world. I thought he might have moved on to a different profession by now. You actually remember that it’s been three years? I didn’t even realize that… But what is he going to do now, after all this time? Yeah… that’s true. In a way, it feels like a suicide mission. We don’t know what he has been up to for the past three years. What has he been doing all this time?” As the voice-over plays, the names of the key technicians flash across the screen in title cards. The scene cuts to the hero. The glimpse then shows him skipping and boxing.
Kartikeya looks as fit and handsome as ever. The background score composed by Vijay Bulganin is impressive. The title Comeback is then revealed. The glimpse also confirms that Kartikeya will be playing a boxer in the film.
