Actor Siddharth has officially unveiled the latest look from Netflix’s upcoming military drama, Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War, offering audiences another glimpse into one of the Indian Air Force’s most daring operations during the 1999 Kargil conflict.
Inspired by true events, the series revisits Operation Safed Sagar, the Indian Air Force’s historic air campaign launched during the Kargil War. Considered one of the most challenging aerial combat missions ever undertaken, it marked the world’s highest air operation, with fighter pilots flying through treacherous Himalayan terrain under extreme combat conditions. Rather than focusing solely on battlefield action, the series promises to explore the courage, sacrifices, friendships, and impossible decisions made by the men and women behind the mission.
Leading the ensemble is Siddharth, alongside Jimmy Shergill, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Abhay Verma, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, Arnav Bhasin, Adil Hussain, and Amrita Bagchi.
