Stories and self-love shine at the new literary series of Conrad Pune
Conrad Pune launched its reimagined literary series, Chapters by Conrad, with an intimate evening featuring renowned psychologist and bestselling author Damini Grover. The gathering took place at the hotel’s award-winning Asian dining venue, MASU, drawing over 50 guests including writers, wellness advocates, and cultural voices from across the city.
Damini Grover introduced her latest work, Time to Come Home – Sowing the Seeds of Self-Love for Lasting Happiness, published by Hay House India. Known for her warm and relatable approach to mental well-being, Grover shared personal experiences that inspired her writing and encouraged attendees to reflect on their own journeys of healing and self-discovery.
The conversation was guided by Abdul Nasir Shaikh, Founder of TCMC, who led a heartfelt discussion on themes of self-love, resilience, and personal growth. The event included a lively Q&A session, followed by book signings, allowing guests to connect directly with the author.
In addition to the literary dialogue, attendees enjoyed a specially curated culinary spread by Conrad Pune’s chefs, underlining the hotel’s belief that meaningful conversations are best enjoyed alongside memorable food and warm hospitality.
Opening the evening, Conrad Pune’s General Manager, Abhishek Sahai, spoke about the vision behind the series. “At Conrad Pune, we aim to create experiences that go beyond luxury. Chapters by Conrad invites the city to slow down, connect, and engage with stories that truly resonate. Damini’s work was the perfect way to begin – it is honest, heartfelt, and universally relatable,” he said.
Reflecting on the evening, Grover shared, “It felt less like a formal session and more like a homecoming. The audience’s openness and the intimate atmosphere made it truly special.”
With Chapters by Conrad set to host monthly editions, the series promises to be a regular space for engaging conversations with authors, offering Pune’s literary and cultural community a platform to explore ideas that linger well beyond the event.
