Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a fictional tale, confirms A M Rathnam

Hari Hara Veera Mallu A M Ratnam

For the upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, producer A M Rathnam has officially clarified that the story is purely fictional, despite recent rumours suggesting it is based on real events.

Set in the 17th century, the historical action film stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role and is scheduled for worldwide release on 25 July. The film has created a buzz not only because of its scale and cast but also due to speculation around its storyline.

Addressing the rumours about Hari Hara Veera Mallu, A M Rathnam stated in a recent interview, “This is not a real-life story. We created an imaginary character and built the narrative around it. Though the setting reflects the period’s conditions, the plot itself is fictional.”

The producer also explained the significance of the film’s title. “‘Hari Hara’ refers to the unity of Vishnu and Shiva, while ‘Veera Mallu’ represents a brave warrior. Together, the name reflects the strength and spirit of the main character,” he said.

Directed by Krish along with Jyothi Krishna, and featuring Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal, the movie is being made on a grand scale. Music is composed by MM Keeravani, known for his epic soundtracks.

Promotions for the film are in full swing. The team is planning a pre-release event and has applied for permission to hold special premiere shows at 9:30 PM a day before the release in Andhra Pradesh. Ticket prices may also see a slight increase.

With this clarification, the team aims to put an end to the rumours and focus on the film’s fictional narrative and entertainment value.
