Film and OTT Release Schedule: What’s Coming Between 9 and 15 February

The week from 9 February to 15 February is set to be a relatively quiet one for cinemas and streaming platforms. However, moviegoers and OTT audiences will still have a wide variety of choices across languages and platforms, especially on Friday, 13 February, which marks the main theatrical release day of the week.

Theatrical Releases on 13 February

On the Hollywood front, three English-language films are scheduled to release in Indian cinemas. These include Crime 101, distributed by Universal Communications, Wuthering Heights from Warner Bros., and A Beautiful Breakup, a romantic drama whose publicity details are yet to be confirmed. These films cater to audiences looking for crime thrillers, classic literary adaptations and emotional storytelling.

In Bollywood, two prime releases will hit theatres. O’Romeo and Tu Yaa Main, both handled by Universal Communications, are expected to be the main Hindi attractions of the week. There are no non-prime Bollywood releases, and no Hindi-dubbed or re-released films scheduled during this period.

Regional Cinema Line-up

Regional films form the bulk of theatrical releases this week. Marathi cinema sees two new titles: Punha Ekda Sade Made Teen and Man Aatle Mantle. Malayalam cinema has a busy slate with three releases — Pennum Porattum, Sukhamano Sukhamann, and AT – Welcome to the Dark Side.

Telugu audiences can choose from five new films: Couple Friendly, Seetha Payanam, Funky, 1+1 Offer, and Sky. Tamil cinema adds Sweety Naughty Crazy, Dream Girl, and Pookie to its weekend list. Meanwhile, Kannada cinema dominates in numbers with six releases, including Maggi Pusthaka, Marali Manasaagide, Star, Super Hit, Sarala Subbarao, and Rama and Ramu. Bengali cinema offers Mon Maaney Na and Adamya, while Punjabi cinema releases DSP Dev 2 and Sunny Di Honey.

OTT Series and Web Shows

On the OTT side, Netflix leads the week with multiple series releases. Highlights include The Creature Cases – Chapter 7 (9 February), Kohrra Season 2 (11 February), Love Is Blind Season 10 (11 February), and international titles such as Museum of Innocence (Turkish) and The Art of Sarah (Korean). Amazon Prime Video adds Cross Season 2 on 11 February.

OTT Original Film and Digital Premieres

Netflix also releases several original films, including Matter of Time, State of Fear, and Joe’s College Road Trip. Stand-up fans can look forward to Katt Williams: The Last Report on 10 February. Apple TV+ releases Eternity on 13 February. Among theatrical-to-OTT premieres, Baby Girl (Malayalam) arrives on Sony LIV, while Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (Telugu) streams on Z5.

Overall, while the week may not feature blockbuster launches, it offers steady and diverse content for cinema lovers and streaming audiences across languages and genres.
