Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya starrer Chennai Love Story has emerged as a huge box office success, entering the ₹50 crore club. The heart-touching emotional love story has impressed audiences across all sections and has also received appreciation from critics and film personalities. The film has once again proved the immense love Telugu audiences have for romantic dramas.

Speaking about the film’s success, debut director Ravi Namburi expressed his happiness and shared several interesting aspects about the making of the film and its success in a recent interview.

“This success has given me the confidence that I was able to present a good film to the audience in the right way. More than the box office collections, the appreciation from the audience and the emotional connection they have developed with the film have given me immense satisfaction. I’m happy that my very first film has collected over ₹50 crore, and to be honest, I had expected this result.”

“Sai Rajesh himself narrated this story to me. The emotions in the story and the challenge it presented impressed me so much that I immediately accepted the responsibility of directing it. We developed the screenplay together, and I wrote the dialogues. Working with Sai Rajesh was a wonderful experience.”

“I’m extremely happy with the appreciation the dialogues are receiving. My previous experience working in the dialogue writing department for Maruthi’s Prathi Roju Pandage and Pakka Commercial helped me a lot while working on this film.”
