Dharma Productions has entered a new phase in its talent management ambitions after acquiring Cornerstone’s stake in Dharma Cornerstone Agency and relaunching the venture as Dharma Collab Artists Agency (DCAA). The move positions DCAA as Dharma’s exclusive platform for artist representation, with an expanded focus that stretches beyond cinema into music, sports, digital media, live experiences and broader cultural spaces.
The newly rebranded agency will continue to be led by Uday Singh Gauri as Chief Executive Officer, with Rajeev Masand remaining Chief Operating Officer, ensuring leadership continuity as the company scales up. With over two decades of experience across talent management, music, live entertainment and strategic partnerships, Gauri is expected to drive DCAA’s growth by building new verticals and creating cross-platform opportunities for artists.
Dharma’s decision to fully take ownership of the agency reflects a larger strategic vision to build a cohesive cultural ecosystem. Rather than limiting its engagement to film production alone, the company aims to support creative talent wherever influence, opportunity and audience intersect.
Commenting on the development, Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions, said that talent has always been central to Dharma’s identity and long-term thinking. He added that DCAA has been designed as a structured platform that supports artists across disciplines, marking a deliberate step towards strengthening Dharma’s role within the creative economy.
Gauri described DCAA as a response to the changing nature of artistic careers. According to him, representation today extends far beyond negotiations and visibility, requiring cultural insight, business acumen and the ability to anticipate industry shifts. The agency’s focus, he said, will be on building long-term, sustainable careers while fostering collaboration and clarity between talent and opportunity.
DCAA represents a curated roster of established and emerging voices across film, music and digital culture. Its clients include Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rohit Saraf, Lakshya, Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi, Sumukhi Suresh, Orry, and several others shaping contemporary entertainment and popular culture.
Backed by Dharma Productions, which is jointly owned by Karan Johar and Adar Poonawalla, DCAA is expected to play a significant role in redefining how talent is managed and nurtured in India’s rapidly evolving entertainment landscape.
