It attempts to tell a story rooted in human emotions, complicated relationships, and the consequences of decisions that refuse to stay buried. While the film deserves credit for its willingness to take a different route, the journey is not always as compelling as its destination.
From the opening scenes, the film creates a sense of uncertainty. Characters carry emotional baggage, conversations hint at deeper issues, and the narrative slowly reveals that appearances can be misleading.
