Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently shared his experiences with wildlife conservation, focusing on the care given to injured and abandoned animals. He highlighted a lioness recovering from spinal injuries after a vehicle accident and a leopard cub abandoned by its family but given new hope through proper nutrition. Modi praised the team at Vantara for their dedication to rehabilitating wildlife in need.
During his visit to Vantara, Modi learned of several elephants suffering from human-inflicted injuries. One had been brutally attacked with acid, while others were blinded by their Mahouts or hit by vehicles. He condemned such cruelty and called for greater compassion and humane treatment of animals.

Recently he inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation initiative designed to provide a safe haven for animals while promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare. He commended Anant Ambani and his entire team for their compassionate efforts, acknowledging their dedication to the protection and care of wildlife.
