New Delhi witnessed the 16th match of IPL 2023 between their home team, Delhi Capitals(DC) and Mumbai Indians(MI). MI has secured their first win this season. Yash Dhull, under 19 team captain, debuted today with DC. Apart from the captain, wickets kept falling at a faster pace. Jason Behrendorff and Piyush Chawla made it harder for the DC batters to stay on the field. The duo Axar Patel and David Warner have bashed boundaries all around the ground. Axar -the game changer- Patel scored four fours and five sixes. David Warner’s daughters supporting him in the stadium had to be the cutest moment of the night.
MI started the second innings with excellent hitting from both the openers. The captain, Rohit Sharma, meant business in the last match. Hyderabad ka Shaan, Tilak Varma delivers a consistent performance for the team. Appealing a review for wide has been a trend this season. Last night fans witnessed a review overturn an appeal for wide. That thriller last over had a close call for super over.
