
Born on December 10, 1994, in Bengaluru, Rukmini Vasanth comes from a proud Kannada-speaking family. Her father, Colonel Vasanth Venugopal, became the first person from Karnataka to receive the prestigious Ashoka Chakra for his bravery and service to the nation.
With a passion for performance and storytelling, Rukmini pursued professional acting training at the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Her dedication to the craft paved the way for a promising career in cinema.
She made her film debut with the Kannada mystery thriller Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni alongside M. G. Srinivas, instantly gaining attention for her screen presence, elegance, and natural acting style.
