When the whole world is talking about Cannes and the Red Carpet there, I knew I had to do something on my blog too. And here, I compile the Indian diva and L’Oréal Paris ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Cannes looks, so far this year. She has after all made it here continuously for 15 years. While there were initial mishaps on the famed Red Carpet, she did manage to pull off a stunner most of the times.
She arrived at Cannes with her daughter Aradhya and was religiously clicked by the shutter bugs. On the red carpet she looked ethereal in a gorgeous golden Ali Younes beaded caped couture gown. The makeup was subtle going well with the elaborate gown. And later for a press conference, she was there all bright and in red. The gorgeous ruffled gown in red was from Naeem Khan’s Resort 2016 collection, and she looked such a doll in matching lipstick.
The last we knew, she was all ready to make her second red carpet appearance in an Elie Saab gown in nude pink, (or is it gold…as so many are claiming?) with embellished bodice to watch the screening of Steven Spielberg’s BFG. I loved her necklace; will do some finding around to find out who has designed that wonderful piece of jewellery
The screening of her film, ‘Sarbjit’ was scheduled for Saturday, and for the screening she will be seen with her director Omung Kumar and co-actor Richa Chadha.
Next, I hope to compile the best looks at Cannes 2016, according to me, the ‘No-Expert’ opinion.
