Factcheck – Lord Rama on Burj Khalifa – Viral Images are Manufactured
Post the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya there has been one image that has gone viral – the picture shows Dubai’s landmark structure Burj Khalifa showing Lord Ram’s image in lights along with words Jai Shri Ram written. According to the Twitter users who shared the image it was evidently a light show that was done on RamNavami day – March 30, 2023.
Burj Khalifa is known to display various images related to India and Indians on several occasions and hence the image was shared widely and it became viral.
However, a quick search on the internet showed no reliable evidence or news report to confirm that BurjKhalifa did indeed display Lord Ram’s image via its light show.
Further a reverse image search of the viral photograph revealed stock images similar to the viral image, which further confirms the fact that this picture has been doctored.
Further checking of the social media handles have shown no such images on the said dates or in the near past.
