Aparna Malladi is the film maker with a dash of bravado, who displayed it amply well when she made ‘Posh Poris’ – a coming of age web series featuring new-age woman with a mind of their own. It was only a few years later that Hindi OTTs released a bunch of their own such series. Her feature film – ‘Pellikuturu Party’ releases in theatres.
The film primarily is a comedy with a Bachelorette party as its premise, which the lead lady takes with her cousins, the bride to be and a grandma to chaperone the trip. She is on a mission – to sabotage her sister’s wedding. This chick flick perhaps could be our own version of ‘Veere Di Wedding’. The cast of Pellikuturu Party include Prince Cecil, Bhavana Vazhapandal, Arjun Kalyan, Rajesh Vulli, Aneesha Dama, Charan Lakkaraju, Pawan Suresh, Shining Phani, Sai Ketan Rao, Jaiyetri Makana and Annapoorna.
