Road Safety Awareness Workshop and Helmets Distribution by TRAX S Society and ICICI Lombard General Insurance
Campaign Overview:
ICICI Lombard General Insurance, in collaboration with TRAX S Society, organized a Road Safety Awareness Workshop and Helmets Distribution under the ‘Ride to Safety Campaign’ at Megacity Grammar High School in Hyderabad on January 6, 2024.
Helmets Distribution at Megacity Grammar High School:
A total of 390 helmets were distributed at Megacity Grammar High School, with 195 allocated for students and an equal number for their parents or guardians.
Key Speakers and Presentations:
Sri Rajeesh Neemkar, the Project Officer of TRAX S Society, graced the event with an inspirational speech and a presentation on the importance of wearing helmets for both riders and pillion riders. Sri. K.V.R. Murthy, Chairman, and Smt. K Laxmi Sandya Murthy, Correspondent of the Megacity Grammar High School, delivered impactful speeches on traffic awareness and ride safety to students and parents.
Road Safety Awareness Workshop Was conducted and 274 Helmets sponsored by ICICI Lombard General Insurance were Distributed by TRAX S SOCIETY -A Road Safety NGO under “Ride to Safety Campaign” at Two Campus of Imperial High School situated at Ansari Rd, Mir Alam Filter, Hyderabad & Mohammad Nagar, Bandlaguda. Rajeesh Neemkar, Project Officer, Trax S Society, Md. Jawed, Principal, Imperial high School, Teachers and Parents of Students attended the workshop and flagged of Ride to Safety Campaign wearing Helmets.
Commitment to Road Safety:
The Chairman of Megacity Grammar High School, along with teachers, students, and parents, expressed their commitment to continuing the ‘Ride to Safety’ awareness initiative within their society. Parents pledged to wear the helmets while dropping off and picking up their children for an enhanced safety.
Appreciation and Flag-Off:
Special guests at the event applauded the efforts of TRAX S Society in promoting road safety awareness. Helmets were distributed, and a group photo session was flagged off, showcasing students and parents proudly wearing their helmets. A rally was organized to extend awareness beyond the school premises.
Initiative for Children’s Safety:
This year, ICICI Lombard General Insurance and TRAX S Society introduced specially designed helmets for children as part of the ‘Ride to Safety’ awareness campaign. The success of this program encourages the continuation of similar initiatives in other schools, fostering a safer road environment.
