Sangitanjaly Foundation, is a Not for Profit organisation that is working towards promoting Indian Art & Dance forms which includes Folk, Light Music, Fusion, Sufi etc. As part of its activities, Sangianjaly Foundation has organised One World Fusion, an annual musical event that curates right mix of melody, rhythm and Symphony. The One World Fusion has completed a successful eight years and this year, Sangitanjaly Foundation has organised its 9th Edition on the eve of 75th Indian Independence Celebrations.
As 75th year of Indian Independence that is being celebrated as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav across the nation, this premier musical event One World Fusion 2022 on Sunday 14th August 2022 at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad by Sangitanjaly Foundation in collaboration with Department of Culture, Govt of Telangana.
The event is organised with proactive patronage and support from M/s Birla Cements, Neeru’s, Genpact, SBI, ITC, Ace Urban. Fever FM 94.3 is its radio partner and Hotel Mercure Hyderabad KCP is acting as Hospitality partner for the event. This Festival is being organized In Aid of Children suffering with Autism at Autism Ashram.
The event featured some of the best music talents of Indian including Jaspinder NArula (World Famous Bollywood Playback Singer) along with:
• Mark Edward (Saxophone from USA)
• Ms Mohini (Bass Guitar International Sensation and Rock Singer)
• Stefan Devassy (Pianist, Keytarist, Keyboard)
• Sujoy Dey (Famous Bollywood Guitarist)
• Tabla Nawaz Ustad Shadaab Shakoori
• Manjunath (Famous Drummer & Percussionist)
• Ravi Pawar (World Famous Violinist, Pianist & Classically trained Singer)
The musical evening had Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments, Government of Telangana; Chandana Khan, Former Special Chief Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh along with Dr AK Kundra, Chairman, Autism Ashram and Abhijit Bhattacharjee, Chairman Sangitanjaly Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Abhijeeth Bhattacharjee explained that the event is an effort to popularise our rich Indian classical music and also provide platform to the young and budding talents of the country. The concert has been conceived & curated for the first time in India where all the artists are performing together for the first time on this platform, he revealed. The event is being conceived & curated for the first time in Hyderabad with the right mix of harmony and with flavours of the different Genres of the World Music. And that’s why the event is aptly called the One World Fusion, he explained. He also said that Sangitanjaly Foundation is one of the cultural organisations in Hyderabad towards promoting Indian Art & Dance forms which includes Folk, Light Music, Fusion, Sufi etc.
