Maruti Suzuki – New Wagon R & Grand Vitara – Latest Updates
After announcing price revisions, popular car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki announces upgradation of popular models Wagon R and Grand Vitara that include standard safety features across the variants
Beginning of this month one of the largest carmakers of India Maruti Suzuki announced the hike in the prices across its range including Wagon R, Eeco, Ertiga, XL6, Dzire Tour S, Fronx and Grand Vitara. The new prices came into effect from April 8. From ₹2500 on small SUV Fronx to ₹3500 on entry Sedan DZire TourS to ₹12,500 on small car range including Wagon R and the price revision goes as ₹62,000 on the top-most model of Grand Vitara.
Price Hike Follows Upgradation of Safety Features in Wagon R
However, the auto manufacturer has also announced that the popular hatchback model Wagon R will now be having more safety features. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R that comes with two engine options, in addition to features like traction control, ABS, EBD that are available across the line the Wagon R will now come from six airbags. The engine changes will mean better mileage as well say experts.
The new 2025 version of Wagon R has design upgrades also – a redesigned front grille, sleeker headlamps, and bumpers and available in new dual-tone shades and snazzy alloy wheels.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Updated
The Compact SUV Grand Vitara too gets updated with new features. While there has been a price hike of ₹23,000 the feature upgrades include electronic parking brake, panoramic sunroof, AWD variant updated with a new automatic transmission option. The AWD Variant that was available with a five-speed manual gearbox after the 2025 update will come with an option of six-speed automatic transmission.
In addition to electronic parking brake, a panoramic sunroof from Zeta (O) variant onwards, 8-way Driver Powered Seat, rear window sunshades, the new updated Grand Vitara now comes with standard six airbags across its lineup, ABS, EBD, traction control, hill hold assist, and more.
