Untimely rains can spell doom to your otherwise resilient succulents…Here’s a run down on things to do to protect them

– Kiran Adeniums

👉🏿one of the best way to prevent leaf and root rot is to stop watering in this season

👉🏿 Improve soil and drainage , whether your succulent are in soil or in pots and you can make your soil more porous

👉🏿 Plants cover – you can choose different types of covers like garden fabric , row cover which comes in different materials and thickness , avoid plastic as they encourage moisture which succulent plants won’t like

👉🏿 Ensure you have the right soil mix for succulent

3 parts of soil. ,
2 parts of sand
1 part of rock

👉🏿 How to create air flow

Plant your succulent on elevated above the soil level like small trenches or hill like slopes to keep soil dried and get better airflow to dry

👉🏿check your succulent weekly for dead leaves or branches, every now and than the succulent may die so keep pruning your succulent

👉🏿Pots – succulent loves terracotta pots as they breath and keep the moisture away by evoparation

👉🏿with the correct arrangements your succulent can be saved by giving right attention at right time without making their feet wet
